Senior Operations Manager – South (Retail Stores)

About the role

Chai Point is seeking a Senior Operations Manager for its South region to own the P&L, drive growth, and ensure operational excellence across its retail stores. The role combines strategic planning, team leadership, and hands‑on execution to deliver revenue, margin, and customer experience targets.

Key responsibilities

• Own regional P&L and achieve revenue, cost‑containment, and profitability goals.
• Develop and execute market‑growth strategies, new‑store selection, and promotional events.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels, minimize waste, and enforce SOPs for quality and food safety.
• Lead training, coaching, performance management, and employee engagement for store teams.
• Collaborate with marketing, finance, and operations to resolve cross‑functional issues.
• Monitor and improve key metrics such as same‑store sales growth, customer retention, and NPS.
• Ensure 100% store uptime on delivery platforms and manage aggregator relationships.

Required profile

• 8–12 years of experience in retail or food‑service operations with P&L responsibility.
• MBA or equivalent graduate degree.
• Proven ability to lead large, multi‑disciplinary teams in a high‑growth environment.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
• Hands‑on experience in inventory management, quality compliance, and operational control.
