Senior MTS – Cloud Test

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Member of Technical Staff to lead quality engineering for Aviatrix’s cloud networking platform. The role focuses on testing edge‑gateway deployments, routing, high‑availability and multi‑cloud connectivity across bare‑metal and colocation environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute test strategies for edge gateway platforms, BGP policies, routing validation and zero‑downtime upgrades.
• Own feature quality for deployments in co‑location sites (Equinix, Megaport) and bare‑metal infrastructures.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks, regression suites and CI/CD integration.
• Build test environments, replicate customer use‑cases and troubleshoot complex issues in lab settings.
• Collaborate with software engineering to improve testability, identify risks early and drive defect prevention.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in networking QA, cloud platform testing or network engineering.
• Strong hands‑on knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, VPN, routing, switching and high‑availability concepts.
• Experience with edge networking, NFV, bare‑metal or virtual network appliances.
• Proficiency in Python and automation development, including CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to use packet capture tools such as Wireshark or tcpdump for debugging.
