About the role

JMT Consultants Detailing Private Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Modeler to join its Steel Detailing team in Delhi. The role involves creating precise 3D structural models using Tekla Structures for US commercial projects, ensuring compliance with client standards and industry codes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop accurate 3D structural models in Tekla Structures based on architectural and structural drawings.
• Verify and use the latest drawing revisions before modeling.
• Create and manage custom components, standard connections, macros, and user‑defined connections.
• Perform preliminary model checks, clash detection, and quality reviews.
• Identify transportation and erection constraints and propose practical solutions.
• Generate GA drawings, shop drawings, erection drawings, NC files, and related reports.
• Mentor junior team members and raise RFIs when clarification is needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in structural steel detailing using 3D modeling software.
• Experience with US commercial projects and exposure to CISC and AISC codes for at least 3 years.
• Proven ability to interpret and implement RFI responses accurately.
