Senior Mobile Engineer – Flutter/Kotlin/Swift

About the role

Equiti, a fast‑growing fintech firm, is looking for a detail‑oriented Senior Mobile Engineer to join its Technology department in Bangalore. You will help build high‑quality mobile applications that power real‑time trading and financial services for clients across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Develop high‑quality mobile applications using Flutter or native Android/iOS.
• Design and implement scalable architectures, reusable components and frameworks.
• Participate in technical design discussions and propose solutions for complex problems.
• Write clean, maintainable, testable code and implement automated tests (unit, widget, integration, screenshot/golden).
• Optimize performance for low battery usage, memory efficiency, smooth rendering and fast cold launches.
• Collaborate with QA, Product, Design, Backend and DevOps for end‑to‑end delivery.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root‑cause analysis and ensure crash‑free sessions.
• Support CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, tests and deployments.

Required profile

• 5–9 years of hands‑on mobile development experience, preferably in a fast‑paced, product‑focused environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Flutter, Kotlin, Swift.
• Mobile architectures such as Bloc, Provider, MVVM, Clean Architecture.
• Screenshot/golden testing, API integration, sockets, offline storage, secure data handling.
• Firebase, Sentry, New Relic or similar monitoring tools.
• Debugging with profilers and performance analyzers.
• CI/CD pipelines, modular architecture, feature flags, analytics.
• Complex animations, custom UI, design systems.
• App Store and Play Store deployment knowledge.
