Senior Manager – Warehousing & Logistics (IWD)

About the role

The Senior Manager – IWD (Warehousing & Logistics) leads the design, implementation and management of transportation and warehousing strategies that align with business objectives. This position ensures cost efficiency, high service standards and environmental responsibility while collaborating with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive transportation and warehousing strategies aligned with cost, SLA and sustainability goals.
• Lead selection, onboarding and contract management of transportation service providers.
• Conduct strategic forecasting and capacity planning to anticipate future logistics needs.
• Negotiate commercial tariffs and advise senior management on logistics initiatives.
• Oversee warehousing contracts, ensuring compliance and identifying cost‑saving opportunities.
• Maintain high data quality for master and transactional logistics records.
• Analyze transportation and distribution data to drive efficiency and cost reductions.
• Support route optimization through capacity data collection and analysis.
• Troubleshoot logistics issues and coordinate resolutions with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, quality procedures and company policies, assisting with audits.
• Communicate shipment statuses, delays and escalations to relevant parties.
• Review transporter and warehouse performance monthly and implement corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in supply chain, transport, logistics, operations or physical distribution.
• Expertise in onward and reverse logistics, preferably with international exposure.
• Knowledge of GST and medical device regulations.
