Senior Manager – SAP MDG Advisory

About the role

PwC is seeking a Senior Manager to lead its SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) advisory practice in Pune. You will work with clients to understand their master data challenges, design robust MDG solutions and ensure seamless implementation and adoption across the enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse business requirements for master data across customers, suppliers, materials and financial objects.
• Design SAP MDG data models (MDG‑C, MDG‑S, MDG‑M, MDG‑F) and define governance processes, including workflows, approvals and validation rules.
• Configure SAP MDG, BRF+ logic, derivations and data validation rules to meet client specifications.
• Lead workshops and training sessions for client stakeholders to ensure effective use of SAP MDG.
• Provide ongoing support and advisory services to optimise operational efficiency and achieve strategic objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior consultant or manager in SAP MDG implementations.
• Strong functional knowledge of master data domains (customer, supplier, material, finance).
• Demonstrated ability to lead client engagements, manage teams and deliver complex projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
