Senior Manager Quality Assurance

About the role

The Senior Manager Quality Assurance leads the implementation and maintenance of quality systems across multiple manufacturing sites. The role ensures product safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement in line with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and enforce Quality Management System (QMS) and Quality Manuals at all sites.
• Coordinate with franchise partners to achieve operational excellence and prevent product recalls.
• Oversee chemical and microbiological analyses of raw water and finished products, ensuring compliance with BIS and UB specifications.
• Maintain comprehensive records of analyses, packaging quality indices, and quality complaints; report to the QA manager on schedule.
• Conduct regular manufacturing facility visits, generate reports, and ensure complaints are resolved within defined timeframes.
• Provide on‑the‑job training for site technicians and shop‑floor staff; organize quality‑control awareness meetings.
• Manage calibration of inspection, measuring, and test equipment.
• Supervise the proper operation of the Water Treatment Plant (WTP), including cleaning and sanitation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior quality assurance roles within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of QMS implementation, BIS and UB standards, and product safety regulations.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams, drive corrective and preventive actions, and maintain accurate documentation.
