Senior Manager – Modern Trade (FMCG)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Manager to lead our Modern Trade business in the FMCG/Personal Care segment. The role focuses on building and managing relationships with top national and regional retail chains, driving product listings, and delivering growth across key accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with major retail chains such as Health & Glow, Spencer’s, Wellness, Star Bazaar, D‑Mart and regional partners.
• Plan business strategies, onboard new accounts, and list new products in existing accounts.
• Negotiate and execute terms of trade (TOT) and contracts with retailers.
• Create joint business plans with category teams and drive category growth and profitability.
• Manage sales through distributors, ensure 100% fill rates, and forecast inventory for modern trade outlets.
• Lead trade activation activities including merchandising, launches, visibility, and promotions at the account level.
• Coordinate cross‑functional efforts with BA Channel, marketing, and supply‑chain teams.
• Monitor competition, identify opportunities, and escalate issues as needed.
