Senior Manager / Manager – Procurement

About the role

The Procurement function at Starzen India is looking for a Senior Manager/Manager to lead sourcing, negotiation and purchasing activities across India and international markets. The role ensures cost‑effective procurement while complying with company policies, project requirements and regulatory frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Source and evaluate suppliers on price, quality, delivery and service; request quotations, negotiate terms and finalize purchase agreements.
• Issue Purchase Orders, track deliveries and maintain accurate procurement records.
• Analyse spend data to identify cost‑saving opportunities and support reporting and forecasting.
• Develop strong relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders; conduct supplier audits and performance reviews.
• Provide procurement support for customer projects, including RFQ/RFP handling, tendering, bid evaluation and contract finalisation.
• Establish and manage procurement operations for the India GCC, covering vendor empanelment, rate contracts and local sourcing strategies.
• Ensure compliance with Indian regulations (GST, TDS) and manage import/export documentation for cross‑border procurement.
• Drive process improvements, ERP/procurement system implementation and adoption of AI‑enabled e‑sourcing and spend analytics tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (e.g., B.Com, BBA, Engineering) or equivalent.
• Proven experience in procurement or supply‑chain roles, preferably handling both Indian and GCC operations.
• Ability to work with short notice periods; immediate joiners preferred.
