Senior Machine Learning Engineer

About the role

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer in Bosch's Perception team, you will own the deep‑learning infrastructure that powers our L2+ ADAS stack. You will design, build, and optimise data pipelines and compute resources to enable fast, reliable training of multimodal models.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and optimise Azure Blob Storage, VNET configurations and hybrid Kubernetes clusters for training and inference.
• Lead performance benchmarking of next‑gen hardware (e.g., H200 vs. H100) and Azure native deployments.
• Architect high‑performance data loaders for camera, radar and temporal datasets, modernising pipelines with Ray and Kubernetes.
• Implement efficient data‑update strategies using PyArrow and SQL.
• Design and maintain GitHub Workflows, CI pipelines and Grafana dashboards to monitor GPU utilisation, test durations and system health.
• Handle dependency updates for PyTorch, Ubuntu, Hydra and Dependabot.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in building and scaling deep‑learning infrastructure.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with a “T‑shaped” expertise across infrastructure, data engineering and deep learning.
• Ability to work independently, think critically and deliver production‑grade solutions.
