About the role

Scientific Games is seeking a Senior Software Engineer specialized in Java development to design, build and test high‑performance software solutions that support its lottery and gaming platforms. The role focuses on creating new products and enhancing existing systems, including cloud‑based and internet‑enabled tools.

Key responsibilities

Plan, design, develop and test software applications and enhancements.
Work on cloud‑based and internet‑related tools supporting gaming and lottery services.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver short‑term assignments requiring independent judgment.
Maintain code quality, documentation and follow best practices for security and performance.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
5–8 years of professional software development experience.
Ability to work on‑site or in a hybrid environment as required.
Willingness to undergo background checks and comply with regulatory licensing requirements.

Required skills

Java programming.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
