Senior Human Resources Generalist

About the role

The Senior Human Resources Generalist will lead end‑to‑end HR operations for our Goa office, acting as the primary HR partner for employees and people leaders. This role ensures smooth HR processes, compliance, employee relations and a positive employee experience while collaborating with central HR, finance, IT and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day HR operations, including onboarding, transfers, promotions, exits and HRIS updates.
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure timely completion of HR processes.
• Implement HR policies, SOPs and Workday processes in line with regional governance.
• Serve as the local point of contact for employee queries, policy interpretation and workplace concerns.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives such as festivals, sports, wellness and inclusion activities.
• Handle employee relations cases, grievance management, disciplinary documentation and performance interventions.
• Ensure compliance with Indian employment laws, statutory requirements and internal policies.
• Prepare audit‑ready documentation and coordinate internal and external audits.
• Monitor compliance calendars, policy acknowledgements and statutory submissions.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing full‑cycle HR functions for a regional office.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to partner with business leaders and cross‑functional teams.
• In‑depth knowledge of Indian labour legislation and HR compliance standards.
• Demonstrated ability to handle employee relations, grievance and disciplinary matters confidentially.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
