Senior HR Executive / Assistant Manager

About the role

We are seeking a proactive HR Senior Executive / Assistant Manager to lead core HR functions for a fast‑growing crop‑science business. The role combines generalist expertise with hands‑on operational responsibilities, partnering closely with business leaders to deliver timely HR services.

Key responsibilities

• Drive end‑to‑end recruitment: manpower planning, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer management and onboarding.
• Manage HR operations and employee‑lifecycle activities, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements such as PF, ESI, PT, LWF.
• Handle employee relations, grievances and HR queries with a solution‑oriented approach.
• Prepare and analyse HR MIS and dashboards covering headcount, recruitment, attrition, absenteeism and other key metrics.
• Implement HR policies and processes, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Partner with managers and business teams to provide timely and effective HR support.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of experience in an HR Generalist role.
• MBA/PGDM in Human Resources.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Proactive, self‑driven and hands‑on attitude.
