Senior Full Stack Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a new engineering team within SAP. You will help design and deliver an intuitive guided experience for customers to implement, test, and deploy their solutions, while mentoring junior developers and driving engineering best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product, architecture, and DevOps teams to define, estimate, and deliver complex product features.
• Design, develop, and maintain cloud‑native SaaS applications and RESTful services using Java Spring Boot or Node.js.
• Implement front‑end solutions with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Fiori Design.
• Ensure high quality through TDD, code reviews, design reviews, and automated testing.
• Drive adoption of CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins or GitHub Actions, and promote engineering standards.
• Mentor developers on software design, coding practices, and testing strategies.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software product development, preferably in cloud and SaaS environments.
• Strong understanding of SOLID principles, design patterns, and micro‑service architecture.

Required skills

• Java Spring Boot or Node.js

• SAP BTP multi‑tenancy, CDS, CAP, Cloud Foundry, HANA Cloud
• CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• RESTful API development
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba, SAP Fieldglass, SAP SuccessFactors
