Senior Frontend Engineer (UI)

About the role

Five9 is a leading cloud contact‑center software provider seeking a talented Frontend Engineer who leads with UI but isn’t afraid to go deep. You will ship polished interfaces using modern web technologies and gradually expand into full‑stack ownership.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build responsive, performant UIs using React, TanStack, Zustand and TypeScript.
• Collaborate on feature development end‑to‑end and gradually take on backend work.
• Use GitLab for version control, CI/CD pipelines and issue tracking.
• Deploy and manage workloads on Google Cloud Platform services such as GKE and Cloud Storage.
• Leverage AI‑assisted coding tools (Copilot, Cursor, Claude) to accelerate development.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience with React and TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS and UI component libraries.
• Familiarity with web accessibility and internationalization.
• Experience with testing frameworks like Jest or Playwright.
• Comfort working with GitLab, CI/CD and cloud platforms.
