Senior Frontend Engineer (SDE3)

About the role

As a Software Development Engineer 3 (SDE3) – Frontend at CloudSEK, you will be a senior engineer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high‑performance user interfaces for our cybersecurity platform.

Key responsibilities

• Own the design and development of complex, scalable frontend features for CloudSEK’s cybersecurity products.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and backend engineers to translate requirements into technical plans.
• Maintain large‑scale component libraries, design systems, and UI frameworks to ensure consistency and performance.
• Integrate AI workflows, including LLM‑powered features and agentic automation, into the product.
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, pairing sessions, and design discussions.
• Drive performance optimisation, observability, testing, and reliability initiatives across the frontend codebase.

Required profile

• Strong experience building complex frontend applications in production environments.
• Proven ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on secure, maintainable code.
• Effective communication and collaboration with cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• React, Next.js, TypeScript, modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Integration of AI workflows and LLM APIs.
• Design systems, UI frameworks, and reusable component libraries.
• Performance optimisation techniques: rendering strategies, caching, code‑splitting, asset optimisation.
• Responsive design, accessibility standards, and cross‑browser compatibility.
• Build tools such as Vite, Webpack, Rollup; monorepo tooling like Nx or TurboRepo; package managers (pnpm).
• Consuming REST and GraphQL APIs and collaborating on API contracts.
• CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), automated testing (unit, integration, E2E).
