Senior Flutter Developer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Flutter Developer with 6‑8 years of mobile application development experience, specializing in location‑based solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on expertise integrating map services, geolocation, real‑time tracking and building scalable cross‑platform architectures.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high‑performance cross‑platform mobile apps using Flutter and Dart.
• Implement advanced map‑based features with Google Maps, Mapbox, HERE Maps or similar SDKs.
• Integrate location services such as GPS tracking, geofencing, route optimisation, navigation and real‑time vehicle/user tracking.
• Build reusable widgets, components and libraries for future projects.
• Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, backend developers and QA teams to deliver high‑quality applications.
• Integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs, third‑party SDKs and optimise performance, responsiveness and battery consumption for location‑heavy apps.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions and architectural decisions.
• Troubleshoot, debug and resolve production issues.
• Mentor junior developers and promote best engineering practices.

Required profile

• 6‑8 years of software development experience with at least 4 years of hands‑on Flutter development.
• Strong proficiency in Dart and state‑management solutions (Bloc, Riverpod, Provider, GetX).
• Proven experience integrating mapping SDKs, geolocation, geocoding, routing, real‑time tracking and geofencing.
• Solid understanding of mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture, Repository).
• Experience with REST/GraphQL APIs, JSON handling and Firebase services.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, mobile security best practices and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
