Senior Executive – Payments & Merchant Acquiring

About the role

Bajaj Finance Ltd. is expanding its QR acquiring business and is looking for a Senior Executive to build and lead the operation in the Mumbai‑Goregaon territory. You will be responsible for hiring, training and managing a field sales team, driving QR and POS deployments, and growing merchant relationships to increase transaction volume and gross merchandise value.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, train and motivate a Field Operations Sales (FOS) team and monitor their productivity.
• Acquire new merchants and drive QR, SB and POS/EDC deployments across the assigned region.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key decision‑makers for business development.
• Map FOS coverage, manage channel partners, and ensure sales targets and retailer payment reconciliation.
• Collaborate with partners on sales promotions, ensure process rigor, and maintain visibility at points of sale.
• Activate stores monthly according to company guidelines.

Required profile

• Graduation or MBA with 2‑4 years of relevant experience.
• Prior exposure to payments, FMCG or telecom prepaid sales is mandatory.
• Experience handling merchant relationships directly.
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills and high energy.
• Self‑starter with a passion for field work and retailer engagement.
