Senior Executive – Payments & Merchant Acquiring

About the role

Bajaj Finance Ltd. is expanding its QR acquiring business and is looking for a Senior Executive to build and lead the operation in the Mumbai‑Goregaon territory. You will be responsible for hiring the field team, driving QR, POS and EDC deployments, and growing transaction volume and gross merchandise value.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, train and motivate a Field Operations Staff (FOS) team.
• Acquire new merchants and oversee QR, SB and POS/EDC deployments.
• Develop distribution channels and manage relationships with key decision‑makers.
• Ensure proper coverage through FOS mapping and channel management.
• Drive sales targets, retailer payment reconciliation and store activation activities.
• Collaborate with partners on sales promotions and maintain process rigor and controllership.

Required profile

• Graduation or MBA with 2‑4 years of relevant experience.
• Prior exposure to payments, FMCG or telecom prepaid sales is mandatory.
• Experience handling merchant relationships and distribution in consumer durables, digital or LSF roles is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills and high energy for field work.

• Experience in merchant acquisition and distribution management.
