Senior Executive – B2B Logistics

About the role

The Senior Executive – B2B Logistics will oversee the health of the logistics pipeline, ensuring shipments move within agreed timelines and compliance standards. Reporting to the Assistant Manager, this individual contributor focuses on operational execution and data‑driven decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and report shipment ageing at hubs and in‑transit, flagging any that exceed SLA lead times.
• Track pending Proof of Delivery (POD) documents and coordinate with carriers for timely closure.
• Identify and escalate “stuck” shipments caused by regional constraints or capacity issues.
• Measure pick‑up and delivery performance against KPI targets to ensure SLA compliance.
• Execute legal documentation, including E‑way bill Part B management, for all movements.
• Manage daily transport network productivity to prevent backlogs.
• Support vendor performance reviews with data on carrier delays.
• Analyze shipment delay data, provide actionable insights, and drive continuous improvement.
• Report real‑time regional issues and trends affecting delivery timelines.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in logistics operations.
• Bachelor’s degree (B.Tech, B.Com or BBA).
• Strong sense of accountability, ownership and proactive problem‑solving.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Transport Management Systems (TMS).
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office suite.
