Senior Engineer - Electrical Maintenance

About the role

The Senior Engineer – Electrical Maintenance is responsible for ensuring efficient and reliable operation of the Switchyard and Power Transformer areas at Adani Power Limited. The role emphasizes safety, environmental compliance, and continuous improvement through digitalisation and automation.

Key responsibilities

• Execute preventive, predictive and corrective electrical maintenance activities for switchyard and transformer equipment.
• Plan and carry out annual (AOH) and comprehensive (COH) overhauls, managing outages to meet safety, schedule and budget targets.
• Repair, refurbish and monitor condition of circuit breakers, transformers, isolators and earthing systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures, conduct failure analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Create purchase requisitions, manage service entry sheets and ensure timely material procurement.
• Identify and implement process and system improvements, updating SOPs, JSAs and maintenance plans.

Required profile

• Proven experience in electrical maintenance of switchyard and power transformer equipment.
• Ability to lead maintenance execution during planned outages and overhauls.
• Strong focus on safety, environmental standards and continuous improvement.
