Senior Engineer – Data & Marketing

About the role

ANZ’s Data & Marketing division is looking for a Senior Engineer to design and deliver end‑to‑end data solutions that enable business intelligence, regulatory reporting and strategic decision‑making. You will join a multidisciplinary squad in Bengaluru, working on data extraction, transformation, modelling and reporting while ensuring high reliability and compliance with ANZ standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain data‑warehousing solutions using a broad technology stack.
• Source, extract, move and model data to create reusable data assets and reporting solutions.
• Ensure data quality through governance, control standards and adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Provide production support, follow change and problem‑management processes.
• Conduct code reviews, offer technical guidance and mentor junior team members.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable data designs.

• Strong stakeholder engagement and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven capability to challenge existing processes and drive efficiency.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills with influence across teams.
• Ability to resolve complex technical issues independently while thriving in a collaborative environment.

Required skills

• Experience designing end‑to‑end data‑warehousing solutions.
• Proficiency with orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow, Astronomer and Apache Spark.
