Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager – Product Quality Engineer (Power Tools)

About the role

As a Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager in Product Quality Engineering, you will support the Chip division of Bosch's Power Tools plant. The role focuses on driving product quality improvements from the design stage through production, ensuring that customer and system requirements are met.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct predecessor analysis and propose design‑based quality improvements.
• Translate quality requirements into customer and system requirement sheets and verify implementation.
• Create project test plans in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Perform A‑sample testing, make pass/fail decisions, and generate detailed test reports.
• Lead B, C, D sample testing assessments and document outcomes.
• Release production process documentation such as PFMEA, control plans and work instructions.
• Coordinate PSS/8D activities for addressing quality issues.
• Analyse quality KPIs, initiate improvement actions and prepare quality reports.
• Provide quality assurance for Project Innovation Framework (PIF) and engineering changes.
• Support product design teams on quality‑related topics and conduct process audits.
• Manage complaints, conduct market surveillance and drive problem‑solving activities.

Required profile

• B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in product quality engineering or a related manufacturing environment.
