Senior Dispatch Agent – Cross Border Trucking

About the role

The Senior Dispatch Agent will oversee cross‑border trucking operations within FedEx’s Dispatch (Heavy Weight) team. You will ensure that all processes are completed on time, accurately and in compliance with internal and external standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute defined dispatch processes and procedures, meeting strict deadlines.
• Maintain accuracy and completeness of shipment data and documentation.
• Identify and resolve anomalies using established rules; escalate complex issues to senior team members.
• Coordinate with drivers, customs agents and internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth cross‑border movements.
• Monitor performance metrics and suggest improvements to operational workflows.

Required profile

• Proven experience in logistics or transportation dispatch, preferably in heavy‑weight or cross‑border environments.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent judgment when applying rules and procedures.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Solid PC literacy and ability to navigate internal dispatch software.
