Senior Deployment Engineer

About the role

As a Senior Deployment Engineer you will be the backbone of Celonis delivery, leading hands‑on implementation of AI‑augmented solutions for enterprise customers. You will combine deep platform expertise with AI‑driven workflows to deliver high‑quality outcomes quickly and ensure measurable business impact.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct discovery workshops to translate strategic objectives into high‑impact Celonis use cases and define project scope.
• Direct AI deployment agents (Apollo) to build data models, process analyses, KPIs and dashboards, then validate outputs against business requirements.
• Configure end‑to‑end Celonis solutions, including Process Intelligence Graph, data transformations, operational solutions and AI‑powered insights.
• Lead value‑creation workshops, define success metrics, and design operational solutions that drive adoption and process conformance.
• Enable key users, provide training, and document solution designs for long‑term handover and support.

Required profile

• 4‑6+ years in management, IT or process‑improvement consulting with proven project leadership.
• Strong business‑process knowledge in domains such as Supply Chain, Order‑to‑Cash, Procure‑to‑Pay or IT Service Management.
• Excellent stakeholder management, workshop facilitation and ability to translate ambiguous needs into precise specifications.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% to customer sites.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with the Celonis platform, data modeling, KPI definition and automation.
• Proficiency in PQL, SQL and Python.
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Codex or Cursor.
• Prompt/context engineering skills to guide AI agents and evaluate their outputs.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
