Senior Data Scientist – Healthcare Focus

About the role

At PwC’s Data & Analytics Advisory, the Senior Data Scientist will lead the design and delivery of advanced machine‑learning and statistical solutions for healthcare clients. The role combines technical leadership with client‑facing responsibilities to turn complex business problems into scalable data‑driven products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deploy advanced ML and statistical models that address critical healthcare challenges.
• Define and promote best practices for modelling, experimentation and analytical rigor across the team.
• Translate real‑world healthcare problems into scalable data‑science solutions.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders to influence product development and business strategy.
• Mentor junior data‑science staff and raise the technical capability of the team.
• Stay current with emerging techniques in machine learning and healthcare analytics.

Required profile

• 8 + years of experience in data science, computer science, statistics, mathematics or a related quantitative discipline.
• Proven track record of delivering machine‑learning or statistical modelling projects, preferably in the healthcare sector.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to communicate complex insights to non‑technical audiences.
