Performance Testing Manager – Advisory (Hyderabad)

About the role

At PwC, the Performance Testing Manager will lead quality engineering initiatives within the Advisory line of service, focusing on implementing best‑practice standards in software development and testing to ensure optimal performance and user experience for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Implement leading practice standards of quality in software development and testing processes.
• Identify and resolve defects, optimise system performance, and enhance user experience.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in performance testing and engineering, with 8‑10 years overall experience.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
• Proficiency with performance testing tools such as LoadRunner or JMeter.
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Java, JavaScript, Shell).
• Knowledge of system architecture, network protocols, databases and operating systems.
• Ability to analyse complex performance data and present findings.
