Senior Data Engineer – Azure & Databricks

About the role

Bosch Group is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join its Bengaluru software hub. You will design, build, and optimise data pipelines on Azure, supporting the company’s analytics and reporting needs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain end‑to‑end ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks.
• Implement Delta Lake solutions and manage data ingestion from semi‑structured and streaming sources.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into functional specifications for reporting applications.
• Optimise data storage and processing in Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake, and SQL Data Warehouse.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of professional experience in data engineering.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Delta Lake.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and working with Cosmos DB.
• Ability to design scalable data solutions for semi‑structured and streaming data.
