Forward Deployed Engineer – Azure Data & Analytics

About the role

Bosch is looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to join its Bengaluru data engineering team. You will work on building and optimizing data pipelines on Azure, turning raw data into actionable insights for business users.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain end‑to‑end data pipelines using Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Delta Lake.
• Process semi‑structured and streaming data, leveraging Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake and Azure SQL Data Warehouse.
• Write and optimise SQL queries and Python scripts for data transformation and validation.
• Build and manage ADF pipelines for ETL, including copy activities and custom Azure development.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into functional specifications for reporting applications.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of professional experience in data engineering or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Delta Lake and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Strong knowledge of data lake, data warehouse concepts and semi‑structured data handling.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python and familiarity with Cosmos DB.
• Bachelor’s degree (BE) in a relevant discipline.
