Senior Data Analyst – AI Evaluation (Life Sciences)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to lead AI evaluation efforts for life‑science solutions. You will work with scientific experts and product teams to design evaluation frameworks, automate assessments and ensure AI outputs meet rigorous scientific standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define evaluation rubrics, metrics and scenarios for AI products across drug discovery, development and regulatory domains.
• Build and curate scientific test sets and benchmarks that reflect real‑world use cases.
• Adapt and validate “LLM‑as‑jury” automated evaluation approaches, identifying gaps and refining methods.
• Conduct manual and automated evaluations, investigate failure modes and provide evidence‑based feedback.
• Document findings, limitations and recommendations for cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Strong academic background in life sciences (bioinformatics, cheminformatics, biochemistry, pharmacology, etc.).
• Experience evaluating AI or algorithmic outputs using scientific data.
• Proficiency with Python for developing lightweight solutions and automating workflows.
• Familiarity with structured data environments such as databases, taxonomies or knowledge graphs.
• Understanding of data flows, APIs and version‑controlled workflows (e.g., GitHub).
