Senior Corporate Auditor

About the role

3M is seeking a Senior Corporate Auditor to join its global audit team. You will work in a fast‑paced, learning‑focused environment, collaborating with innovative colleagues worldwide while based in Bangalore.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and collaborate with audit teams to perform financial, operational, and compliance audits.
• Assess the design and effectiveness of internal controls and evaluate compliance with 3M policies, laws, and regulations.
• Identify audit issues, analyse root causes and provide practical recommendations.
• Prepare audit findings, present results to business and functional leaders, and ensure sustainable management action plans.
• Produce complete, well‑documented work papers supporting audit conclusions.
• Participate in global and regional initiatives to enhance corporate audit methodologies and processes.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, ACCA, or a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in accounting or finance.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of operational processes, internal controls and auditing practices.
• Ability to understand company systems, policies and procedures.
• Demonstrated project‑management, critical‑thinking and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with business‑level fluency in English.
