Senior Content Marketer

About the role

Plane is building an open, adaptable work‑management platform where humans and AI agents collaborate. As a Senior Content Marketer you will own the content that guides prospects through discovery and evaluation, shaping the narrative that differentiates Plane in regulated markets.

Key responsibilities

• Own the content roadmap across discovery and evaluation, deciding what to write, refresh, consolidate, or retire, and measure impact by sign‑ups and qualified leads.
• Develop and maintain comparison and migration pages for competitors such as Jira, Asana, Monday.com and ClickUp, ensuring technical accuracy for enterprise buyers.
• Translate product releases into clear, audience‑specific content using pull‑request details and product manager input.
• Produce proof points that accelerate enterprise evaluations, including deployment stories, security and governance content, and customer evidence.
• Collaborate daily with product managers, designers, engineers and the community team, and run rigorous technical reviews before publishing.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to ship final drafts that remain defensible over time, with at least three long‑form pieces you can still stand behind.
• Track record of growing organic traffic that converts, handling keyword strategy, internal linking and topical authority end‑to‑end.
• Experience writing about technical products without distortion, including competitive comparison pages.
• Strong editorial judgment, able to brief writers, edit drafts and improve others’ work.

Required skills

• Experience writing security, compliance and deployment content (e.g., SSO, audit logs, data residency, air‑gapped installs).
• Familiarity with open‑source workflows, pull‑request based documentation and community‑driven content correction.
