Senior Consultant

About the role

The Senior Consultant will independently manage a range of commercial transactions, corporate advisory projects, real estate matters and due‑diligence exercises. The role demands strong drafting abilities, commercial insight and the capacity to deliver assignments with minimal supervision while travelling to client sites regularly.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in domestic and cross‑border M&A transactions, conduct corporate and transactional due‑diligence, and draft/ review agreements such as SPA, SHA, and Business Transfer Agreements.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts including vendor, supplier, service, distribution, inter‑company and confidentiality agreements.
• Provide day‑to‑day corporate and commercial advisory, advising clients on risk mitigation, contractual safeguards and compliance.
• Support real‑estate advisory by conducting property due‑diligence, title verification and drafting lease deeds, sale agreements and development agreements.
• Liaise with statutory authorities, coordinate arbitration, litigation and dispute matters, and assist with compliance reviews covering labour laws and corporate governance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); a Master’s in Law (LLM) is an advantage.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in corporate, commercial, real‑estate or M&A practice, preferably with a reputable law firm or corporate legal team.
• Based in or originally from Gujarat with ability to review documents in Gujarati.
• Willingness to travel approximately 10 days per month to client locations, including manufacturing units and remote factories.
