About the role

AVEVA is seeking a Senior Consultant to join its Information Management team in Hyderabad, India. The role involves delivering end‑to‑end implementations of AVEVA’s industrial software portfolio for oil & gas, power and related sectors, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the implementation of AVEVA’s Information Management solutions under the guidance of a Project Manager and Technical Lead.
• Conduct site visits, demonstrations and proof‑of‑concept activities to support business capture.
• Prepare and validate data, and create models for rotating and static assets across multiple industries.
• Produce and review technical project documentation, ensuring accuracy and proper flow.
• Collaborate with AVEVA staff, partners and offshore subcontractors, managing timelines and priorities.
• Identify potential obstacles early and devise corrective actions or alternative solutions.
• Apply fault‑diagnosis techniques and provide work‑arounds during commissioning and post‑commissioning phases.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in engineering, operation, inspection and maintenance of plant systems and rotating equipment in oil & gas, power or related industries.
• Hands‑on knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance practices and related software tools.
• Proven track record across the full project lifecycle – from scoping and design to testing, training and roll‑out.
• Familiarity with FAT, SAT, pre‑commissioning and commissioning activities.
• Ability to read P&ID diagrams is an advantage.
