Senior C++ Software Engineer - ADAS HiL Framework

About the role

Bosch Global Software Technologies Private Limited, a 100% owned subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH and its largest software development centre outside Germany, is looking for a Senior C++ Software Engineer for ADAS HiL Framework development in Bangalore. You will create, optimise and scale Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) test frameworks and simulation workflows, design high-performance command-line tools, automate testing pipelines and debug system-level issues, acting as a technical bridge between hardware and software.

Key responsibilities

• Own the integration, setup and continuous maintenance of the ADAS HiL simulation framework for critical customer projects.
• Build command-line tools and automate test simulation workflows for continuous testing, execution and debugging.
• Troubleshoot framework-level issues, memory errors such as segmentation faults and signal anomalies.
• Provide advanced tier support for Restbus simulation, configuring and scaling virtual vehicle networks.
• Mentor junior team members, run design and code reviews and collaborate with global project teams.
• Support automation and debugging workflows and help move testing pipelines from SiL to HiL.
• Assist customer projects with signal mapping, object bypassing and physical-to-virtual sensor integration.

Required profile

• 6 to 7 years of professional experience in software development, validation framework design or automotive systems integration.
• B.E./B.Tech or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Science or Electronics & Communication Engineering.
• Fluent professional communication in English.

Required skills

• Very strong C++ (object-oriented design, memory management) and basic Python for scripting and tool integration.
• Developing, compiling and debugging on Linux or Windows.
• Preferred: debugging of segmentation faults and network protocol mismatches, ASPICE and ISO 26262 knowledge, CAN/SomeIP/Ethernet, Git, Conan, Jenkins/Azure Pipelines.
