Senior Business Development Manager – Stock Broking & Financial Services

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to lead client acquisition and relationship growth for our stock broking, commodities, and financial services portfolio. Based in Kochi, you will work on‑site, driving sales strategies and delivering tailored investment solutions to retail and institutional clients.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new clients for stock broking, commodities and related financial products.
• Strengthen existing client relationships to increase wallet share.
• Develop and execute sales strategies, conduct client meetings and presentations.
• Promote the company’s investment solutions and services.
• Monitor market trends and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Coordinate with internal teams for seamless client onboarding and service delivery.
• Track sales performance, prepare regular business reports and mentor junior team members.
• Contribute actively to revenue growth targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development or sales within stock broking, commodities or broader financial services.
• Solid understanding of capital markets, equity and commodity products, and regulatory norms.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work on‑site in Kochi, manage multiple priorities and lead junior staff.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, Economics or related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
