Senior Backend Engineer (Golang)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with deep Golang expertise to help build a 0‑to‑1 SaaS product at Endor Labs. Reporting to the Managing Director & R&D Head for India, you will work from our Bengaluru office and shape the core backend infrastructure of our application security platform.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, design and implement scalable backend services for our large‑scale SaaS offering.
• Lead end‑to‑end feature development in close collaboration with product management and distributed engineering teams.
• Make critical architectural decisions, drive innovation and adopt cutting‑edge technologies.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices, including observability, reliability and performance.
• Participate in external technical forums, conferences and open‑source communities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 6‑8 years of experience building scalable back‑ends for product/SaaS companies.
• At least 3 years of hands‑on Golang development focused on microservices and distributed architectures.
• Proven ability to design APIs using frameworks such as gRPC, REST, GraphQL or Thrift.
• Strong understanding of domain‑driven design, load balancing, horizontal/vertical scaling and stateless services.
• Experience troubleshooting complex distributed systems and applying observability best practices.
