Senior Associate – Databricks Engineer (Data Analytics, Advisory)

About the role

PwC is seeking a Senior Associate Databricks Engineer to join its Data Analytics Advisory team in Bengaluru. You will design, build, and optimise data pipelines and platforms that enable clients to transform raw data into actionable insights. The role combines hands‑on engineering with strategic advisory to drive business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data infrastructure on Databricks.
• Develop ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, PySpark and SQL.
• Integrate Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Delta Live Tables and Auto Loader for reliable data processing.
• Configure and manage Databricks Workflows/Lakeflow for orchestration.
• Collaborate with advisory consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure data quality, governance and performance optimisation.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with Databricks in a production environment.
• Proven ability to build and maintain complex data pipelines.
• Solid understanding of data engineering best practices and cloud data platforms.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a client‑facing advisory setting.
