About the role

PwC’s Data & Analytics Advisory team in Hyderabad is looking for a Senior Associate Data Scientist with a focus on healthcare. In this role you will apply advanced analytics and machine learning techniques to large, complex datasets, helping clients turn data into actionable insights and strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of machine‑learning and statistical models that address challenging healthcare problems.
• Establish and promote best practices for modelling, experimentation, and analytical rigor across projects.
• Translate real‑world healthcare business challenges into scalable data‑science solutions.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders to influence product direction and business strategy.
• Mentor junior team members and raise the technical capability of the data‑science group.
• Stay current with emerging advances in machine learning and healthcare analytics.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in data science, statistics, computer science or a related quantitative discipline.
• Proven track record of delivering end‑to‑end analytics solutions in a consulting or industry setting.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex business problems.
