Senior Associate – Credit Risk Analyst (FST – Captives Advisory)

About the role

PwC is seeking a highly analytical and collaborative Senior Associate to join its Credit Risk team within the FST – Captives Advisory practice in Mumbai. The role focuses on evaluating client risk, supporting underwriting decisions, and strengthening the firm’s risk management capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead due‑diligence reviews for Wealth Management clients and broker‑dealers from onboarding through periodic reviews.
• Conduct portfolio‑based analyses, including stress testing, concentration reviews, portfolio analytics, and exposure assessments.
• Evaluate financing and Prime Brokerage risks while ensuring alignment with the firm’s risk appetite and governance standards.
• Partner with Quantitative and Engineering teams to modernise risk frameworks and enhance analytical tools.
• Prepare clear risk reports and present findings to senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with a collaborative approach.
• Experience in credit risk analysis, preferably within financial services.
• Ability to lead due‑diligence processes and communicate findings effectively.
• Comfort working with cross‑functional teams, including quantitative and engineering groups.
