Senior Applications Developer – Cloud & DevOps

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Applications Developer to join TELUS Digital’s India hub. The role focuses on building and operating cloud-native platforms that power our digital products, working in a hybrid environment across Noida and Bengaluru.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain AWS networking components (VPC, subnets, security groups, NAT, routing) and EKS clusters.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines using GitLab runners, automate deployments with GitOps tools such as ArgoCD or Flux.
• Write modular Terraform code, manage state, workspaces and remote back-ends, and perform infrastructure testing.
• Containerize applications, create efficient Dockerfiles, manage Helm charts and Kubernetes manifests, and enforce RBAC and security policies.
• Set up monitoring and logging solutions with Splunk and Datadog, build dashboards, alerts and queries.
• Automate operational tasks with Bash scripting and Python, integrate APIs and tooling.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience developing and operating cloud-native applications.
• Strong understanding of AWS networking and EKS.
• Proven expertise in Git workflows, GitLab CI/CD and GitOps.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm and Docker.
• Experience with Splunk, Datadog, Bash and Python for automation.
