Senior Accountant

About the role

The Senior Accountant will oversee the full spectrum of accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with US and Canadian accounting standards. This role involves managing day‑to‑day ledger operations, supporting audit processes, and delivering timely financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily general ledger operations, prepare and post complex journal entries.
• Execute end‑to‑end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, including invoice processing and cash management.
• Perform routine and month‑end bank reconciliations and balance‑sheet account reconciliations.
• Drive month‑end and year‑end closing activities within established timelines.
• Lead internal and external audit support, preparing schedules and documentation.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and statement analysis in line with corporate policies.
• Maintain complete and compliant financial records and support internal process controls.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of corporate accounting experience.
• Demonstrated experience supporting internal and/or external audits.
• Solid knowledge of US and Canadian accounting standards.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
