Chartered Accountant

About the role

The organization is looking for a highly accomplished Chartered Accountant to lead and strengthen its finance function. This strategic role requires precision, agility, and the ability to provide accurate financial insights to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term financial planning processes.
• Supervise end‑to‑end accounting operations, including general ledger, AP/AR, reconciliations and month‑/quarter‑/year‑end closures.
• Ensure compliance with Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST and other statutory requirements.
• Manage direct and indirect taxation matters, filings, assessments and audits.
• Liaise with statutory, internal and tax auditors to ensure smooth audit execution.
• Design and deliver MIS, dashboards and variance analyses for internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead, mentor and develop a high‑performing finance team while establishing scalable processes and SOPs.
• Collaborate with business heads, HR, legal and procurement to align financial planning across departments.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
• 3‑6 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting.
• Proven track record in taxation, statutory and internal audit, and financial reporting.
• Strong leadership and team development capabilities.
• Ability to drive process improvements and risk management practices.
