Senior Accountant

About the role
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Senior Accountant to join our construction company. The successful candidate will manage day‑to‑day accounting activities, maintain accurate financial records, and support the broader finance function.
Key responsibilities
- Process daily accounting transactions and ensure timely posting.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and file GST returns and manage related compliance.
- Generate invoices, track billing, and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Assist in month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
- Provide financial data and analysis to support management decisions.
Required profile
- Minimum 6 years of professional accounting experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (MCom acceptable).
- CPA designation preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of responsibility.
Required skills
- Proficiency in GST compliance and filing.
- Experience with billing and invoicing processes.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
