Senior Accountant

About the role

The Senior Accountant will join Supreme Mobiles’ finance team in Tiruppur, overseeing the company’s financial operations across its extensive retail network. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with Indian accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Develop and monitor budgets, perform variance analysis and support strategic planning.
• Process payroll, statutory deductions and ensure timely tax filings.
• Assist internal and external auditors during audit cycles and implement recommended improvements.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, cost‑saving opportunities and support decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Professional certification such as CA, CPA or CMA is highly desirable.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in retail or a similar fast‑moving consumer environment.
• Strong knowledge of Indian tax regulations, compliance requirements and audit procedures.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and organizational abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software such as Tally, SAP or QuickBooks.
• Advanced financial reporting and budgeting capabilities.
• Experience in general ledger management and payroll processing.
