Security T&T + CoE Overall Lead

About the role

Persistent is seeking a senior leader to head its Security Center of Excellence and Tools & Technology (T&T) charter. The role will own strategy, build high‑performing teams, and deliver security outcomes across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Own the strategy, roadmap, and delivery for the Security T&T + CoE tower.
• Build, lead, and mentor high‑performing security engineering and consulting teams.
• Define service offerings, capabilities, accelerators, and best practices.
• Engage senior stakeholders and clients on security strategy and outcomes.
• Drive innovation, automation, and continuous capability uplift.
• Govern delivery quality, metrics, and operational excellence.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in security tools, technology and Center of Excellence leadership.
• Deep expertise in security T&T and CoE practices.
• Proven track record of leading security teams or Centers of Excellence.
• Strong strategic, stakeholder‑management and client‑facing abilities.
• Experience building capabilities, service offerings and accelerators.
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM or other domain‑specific credentials (preferred).
• Excellent communication, leadership and decision‑making skills.
