Security Operator – L2 (SOC)

About the role

Fujitsu is seeking an experienced Security Operator to join its Security Operations Center (SOC) in Chennai. The role involves monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents across the organization’s infrastructure and cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts using SIEM tools and perform event correlation.
• Investigate and remediate incidents related to network security, endpoint protection, DLP and infrastructure threats.
• Produce and present incident reports to management.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve detection rules and response processes.
• Maintain 24x7 shift coverage and ensure SOC readiness.

Required profile

• 4‑5 years of hands‑on experience in a SOC or cybersecurity role (L2 level).
• Strong troubleshooting abilities and capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work onsite in a 24x7 SOC environment.
• Relocation support is available; visa sponsorship is not provided.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SIEM platforms and security event correlation.
• Knowledge of network security, endpoint protection and Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
• Experience with infrastructure protection concepts.
• Familiarity with Azure or other cloud platforms.
