Security Operator – L2 Cybersecurity SOC

About the role

Fujitsu is looking for a Security Operator to join its Security Operations Center (SOC) in Chennai. This L2 position focuses on protecting infrastructure, networks, endpoints and data loss prevention mechanisms while supporting 24x7 monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM platforms.
• Correlate events, investigate incidents and coordinate response actions.
• Maintain and tune SIEM rules and dashboards.
• Prepare and present detailed security reports to management.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to remediate vulnerabilities.
• Participate in on‑call rotation and work in a 24x7 SOC environment.

Required profile

• 4‑5 years of hands‑on experience in a SOC or cybersecurity role (L2 level).
• Proven ability to work in shift‑based, 24x7 operations.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to relocate to the Chennai SOC site.

Required skills

• Extensive experience with SIEM systems and security event correlation.
• Knowledge of network security, endpoint protection and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions.
• Familiarity with Azure or other cloud platforms (plus).
• Ability to multi‑task and resolve complex technical issues.
