Security Officer – Site Operations Lead

About the role

The Security Officer leads security operations at client sites, ensuring safety standards are met and acting as the primary liaison between G4S, the client, and on‑site personnel. This role combines leadership, operational oversight and incident management to protect assets and people.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor security staff, conduct daily muster, uniform and equipment checks.
• Serve as the main point of contact for the client, hold regular meetings and address concerns.
• Oversee access control, patrolling, visitor management, material movement and vehicle entry in line with SOPs.
• Monitor CCTV and other surveillance systems, coordinate with client security teams.
• Respond to incidents such as theft, fire or medical emergencies and lead evacuation procedures.
• Prepare shift logs, incident reports, weekly performance summaries and maintain statutory registers.
• Conduct on‑the‑job training, drills and ensure compliance with grooming and discipline standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 12th pass; graduate preferred.
• 4‑8 years of security industry experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or officer role.
• Background in defence, police or paramilitary is an advantage.
• Age 28‑50 years (flexible for ex‑servicemen).
• Physically fit, minimum height 170 cm.
