Security Manager – Plant Operations

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Security Manager to lead all security operations at our manufacturing plant. The role oversees access control, surveillance, perimeter protection and incident response to safeguard high‑value assets and ensure a safe working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead overall plant security operations, including access control, CCTV surveillance, patrolling, perimeter protection and material movement monitoring.
• Ensure 24x7 security coverage through effective shift planning and workforce deployment.
• Develop, implement and continuously improve security SOPs, protocols and escalation mechanisms.
• Conduct periodic risk assessments, vulnerability analyses and security audits to ensure compliance with industrial standards, local laws and internal requirements.
• Oversee CCTV, access‑control, boom barriers, RFID and AI‑enabled surveillance systems, driving digital transformation and analytics.
• Lead incident response, investigations and root‑cause analysis for theft, breaches or safety lapses.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement, third‑party security agencies and internal stakeholders.
• Manage training, discipline and performance monitoring of the security workforce and optimise manpower deployment.
• Support HR in employee verification, visitor management and compliance controls.
• Develop and execute emergency response plans, conduct mock drills and ensure preparedness for fire, intrusion, sabotage or natural disasters.

Required profile

• Graduate or postgraduate degree, preferably in Security, Industrial Management or Defence.
• 10–15 years of experience in plant/industrial security operations, preferably in manufacturing sectors such as solar, metals or heavy engineering.
• Prior experience managing large‑scale security at remote locations (e.g., Mundra).
• Ex‑Army, paramilitary or police background preferred.
